Re: A new parody movie? |
GersonK gave much uselul information. This led me to the internet site for the tv ad and other referenced sites. However, I cannot find any accreditation for the many photographs used in the tv ad. It is standard practice for documentary films to list the sources of any imagery used. Thus,I cannot determine the copyright status of this tv ad vegan film

Their use of the source material is fair use, and the whole completed work has their copyright. Public figures have a lot of control over how their images are used, but in a case like this, where they all probably would see the message as positive (and it does no damage to their careers), I doubt any of them would seek restitution.
